Dwight Merriman, Founder & Advisor

Dwight Merriman is the co-founder of AlleyCorp and one of the original authors of MongoDB, the open-source document database. In 1995, he co-founded DoubleClick (acquired by Google for $3.1 billion) and served as its Chief Technology Officer for ten years. Dwight was architect of the DoubleClick ad serving infrastructure, DART, which serves tens of billions of ads per day. Dwight was also a co-founder and investor in Business Insider and Gilt Groupe.


Wendy Tsu, Partner of New Business Ventures

Wendy is responsible for diligencing new seed-investment opportunities and leading AlleyCorp's incubation methodology for new ventures. Prior to graduating from the Stanford Graduate School of Business (GSB), She worked as an investor at the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative, a Strategy & Operations consultant for Deloitte Consulting to companies like NIKE, and as a product manager at PayPal. She graduated with honors in Business Administration from the University of California, Berkeley.

She currently serves on the Smithsonian Bird Friendly Committee and is the Co-Chair of GSB's NYC Alumni Ambassador Program. 


Dr. Brenton Fargnoli, Partner

Brenton leads AlleyCorp's healthcare investments and incubations. Prior to AlleyCorp, Brenton was an executive at Flatiron Health. He worked previously at J.P. Morgan and Blue Cross & Blue Shield. He is a practicing physician, board certified in Internal Medicine.

Brenton completed his residency at Harvard's Brigham and Women’s Hospital. He graduated summa cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania, earning his MD from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine and an MBA in Healthcare Management from the Wharton School.


Alison Hill, Chief of Stuff

Alison Hill is a top-level Executive/Personal Assistant with more than twenty years experience supporting some of New York’s most prestigious executives at GILT, Cole Haan, GUCCI, Citicorp, and Cushman & Wakefield. As a result of many years working alongside, and learning from, some of New York’s best and brightest, the scope of Alison’s responsibilities have expanded far beyond that of a traditional Executive Assistant role.  When she isn’t glued to a laptop, she enjoys spending time at the beach, exploring other countries/cultures, and relentlessly trying to develop a passion for running.


Cameron Porter, Associate

Cameron is responsible for new company R&D, due diligence on seed investments, as well the development of internal tools/initiatives. Prior to AlleyCorp, he played professionally in Major League Soccer while simultaneously working as part of their engineering team.

Cameron studied computer science at Princeton University where he was recognized as an Academic All-American and William Winston Roper Trophy finalist for high scholastic rank and outstanding qualities of sportsmanship.
